Small,
quaint, quiet and serene; the village is ideal for a relaxing and restful
getaway. Albas
is built on the ruins of an IXth century fortress. The foundation can still be
seen in some areas; particularly in the “Tourette”.
There
is a pottery workshop and a group weaving a high stringer tapestry at the
church.
Outside the
village, while following the marked out pedestrian path, one can discover the
ruins of two windmills, a water mill dating from the XIII century, the
remains of a pink marble career and red silt characteristic of the village
